Because of how your asking. The reason he's likely resistant to allowing you to take the lessons is because, I'm assuming, your basic all demanding it. Have you tried looking into barns first, and then maybe presenting them to him calmly? If he says no then, you need to be willing to calmly accept that. It really is your parents descision, but remaining calm seems to help ALOT.
